This is artistic licence gone mad. Eight minutes in to episode two and I surrender my disbelief no more. Also, some of the crew appear to be shaving when there was no shaving on submarines.

I am only one and a half hours in but I suspect this is the most ill disciplined U boat in the whole Kriegsmarine of WW2.

This is very well done. Very reminicent of "The Enemy Below" and "Das Boot".

I am super confused! I saw the Das Boot series and while it looks like the same plot it was different. This has some of the characters I saw as well as some different ones. Was there two series? Or maybe this is a continuation of the original series?

It's incredible how well preserved the wreck is especially with the Measure 22 camouflage still visible among other things well preserved on the wreck. I'm currently working on a model kit of her in the 1945 configuration so it'll be a tribute to them.
